Make your first account of Cast...

DateTuesday, 21 June 2011 so far this year I feel that I have taken 75% of my fish either on the casting of 1st or 2nd. When I think about it that it is logical full. I went to the hard work I put in a position where I be whether y'll fish holding or think that there is fish - so why thrash water and blowing the best chance that I may have to take a fish...I made withWhite Jersey Keith bass Guides last night and we chatted above. Keith of the fact many diving and fishing over the years and his experiences are identical. The reason being that the fish are generally curious but can quickly become disinterested to see the same thing again and again - that is not to say that you catch but chances to catch % will decrease, especially when the fish are holding up.The scenario runs like this, not cast your bait on the top of the fish which will be just spook them it to present in front of them and be patient. Let just the right length of time and the fish will come to study and the first time in this case is probably time that you connect. The second time will examine you in fish and thus continued until that fish is no longer interested. Now this may not be true for fish cruise, but essentially, they are more difficult to catch anyway because the chances of you landing your bait just in front of fish cruise is thin. If you know how and when fish move and you have positioned yourself in "the right place at the right time."Therefore, it pays to take your time to get mark your all right presented bait, bide your time until you know the marks just (a head just covered, just fold line showing tide, there was a switch to tide etc) and make your first launch with confidence!

Lure HPR century stems

DateTuesday, July 5, 2011

Great day! Chris Evans was exceeding there on some sandwich pre-packed will last for 14 days on the radio this morning, I am told it has to do better than that, certainly...

Made it! Just after lunch, we had the news that we waited. Our first order of Lure HPR century bars will be available later this week, and we are now able to take orders on the site. This means all the info, photos and prices are now available to the public, and I believe that sea fisherman this month carries an article by Henry Gilbey reviews the new shoots HPR.

It is a great day for British fishing lure. Century was at the forefront of the design of the stem for more than 30 years and its stem manufacturing base in the United Kingdom is one of the most advanced in the world. The technology they used in this new range of HPR sticks is ground breaking and especially the HPR sticks were designed and built in Britain. Personally, I feel like there is a healthy relationship with Jersey here, this should be a special day for our friend and guide, Keith White. Keith acted as consultant to lead with century on this project and no one I know attracts more fish and the hours in as Keith.

The production was shifted so we will take orders and sent on a first come, first served basis - with the first batch, next week. Don't miss out.

≫ the full range of century HPR Lure rods can be viewed and the order by clicking here.

Sakura Magic eel 125

DateWednesday, June 1, 2011

Dan and I caught a few hours on the last boat Monday morning before the high wind its ugly face again and I must say that we had some great fishing! A decent for 4 lb mark, bass rockfish 3 lbs and tons of decent Pollack. A few photos and a short video below but the standout for me bait was a factSakura 125 magic eel team with a14 g Sakura Makaira Jig Head, both the bass in the video and the Wrasse photo nailed it - a good combination. I have been considering their place for some time now, and it was great to finally test and they are quite resilant bait soft too. I used a 14 g head that we were drifting fast enough water at times, but a head of 7 g would be perfect. Dan, landed a massive Pollack on bass Assassin goby, see photo - this fish has had on the drop as many of the Pollack appeared and defend a large fast, shallow water. It also takes a beautiful top on a 115 Sammy bass - first sunk on a submerged head (less than 2 ft) and bang - you love lures surfaces!

Great to be back out on the boat - I had a car accident before last weekend that left my woman on crutches to fish for the summer on the pilot light for a few weeks.

The video below is cut short because I turend the camera on and after 52 seconds, he ran out of batteries! Not a bad 52 capture seconds and he savds through me hours of video footage!

Wind river fly fishing

While hose and the Bighorn River in Wyoming get all the attention, fly fishermen know the importance of Wind River and the large population of nearly trophy sized trout. The river winds through Plains, with ample opportunities for fly fishing, canyons and forests. Some of its waters flow through the Wind River Indian Reservation that is why many of the River is not fished. You must have a valid fishing licence of Wyoming for access to the upper Wind River West of the reservation boundary flows. The Shoshone National Forest provides access to the river that runs parallel to the highway. This region is ideal for flying fish because it can be easily waded and plenty of Rainbow, brook, Brown and cutthroat produces so well.
The best piece of the Reservoir Wind is the 15-mile stretch below Boysen Reservoir to the Wind River canyon. Many fly fishermen have five pounds Brown-and rainbow trout and trophy size cutthroat so well captured. You can expect to catch a few 20 or even 30-inch plus trout in these waters. A booking authorisation can be purchased for about $ 25 per day at Riverton, Shoshone or Thermopolis. If you are looking for large trout can then the Wind River are your best bet.  If you're new to the area, it would be wise to the services of a local fly fishing guide. In addition, you must abide by the rules and regulations and the purchase of a fishing licence prior to casting your fly rod.

Dale hollow Lake Fishing

The beautiful clear water of Dale Hollow Lake located along the border of Kentucky-Tennessee is an excellent fishery products with world record smallmouth bass and other species as well. The oldest reservoir in Kentucky is a haven for recreational activities such as swimming and boating. With an average depth of 50 meters are the conditions ideal for bass fishing on the Lake. The record for bass is 11 pounds 15 ounces, which is one of the main reasons why the fishermen are attracted to the Lake. Other species with heavy populations are catfish, gar, crappie, largemouth bass, muskies, trout and walleye. Anglers can enjoy fishing throughout the year with the fishes that are ready to bite. It is also an excellent place for underwater spear fishing for coarse fish. Anglers who wishes to spear fish need a fishing licence and use only the hand or mechanically driven Spears.
March to may are the best times to fish for smallmouth bass, which is the spawning period. Night fishing in June is also productive. The action is also good in the winter but slows down in the spring. However, the spring is the ideal time to your line for White Bass, largemouth bass and crappie ejected. Fishermen can look forward to reeling in muskie in December and January. The spawning period of walleye from late February until the end of March, they come out in large numbers. Crappie fishing during February to April is nothing short of extraordinary. They are found in the deep, clear, Rocky impoundments. Slow-trolling molds on long lines around Shad schools is the most effective approach for crappie in Dale Hollow Lake. Some parts of the Lake can be caught with a fishing licence Kentucky or Tennessee while other areas of the specific state license is required. Winter fishing for bass on Dale Hollow Lake is best with spin its molds, moulds, tube baits and Jigging Spoons.

Crappie fishing tips and techniques

If you want to capture a lot of Crappie the next time that the head was in the water, is probably going to make sure that you have a boat and have it loaded with the right bait. Along with bait that is going to take with you, you should think about some key suggestions to facilitate capturing an enormous number of Crappie.

Live Minnows & fleet : one of my favorite ways to catch Crappie consists of loading the boat with minnows live 3 - dozen or more. While it has a way to keep them alive, that is, quite possibly, the best way to take a lot of big Crappie.

Crappie Jigs Thunder : If live bait is not theirs, can also use Crappie Thunder Blakemore gigas. They are produced by the same company that makes one of the best fishing lures slow, the Road Runner. Thunder Crappie jigs offer attractive combined action with attention getting flare that triggers Crappie to hit hard.

Marabou hair templates : when comes the time to reduce the speed or the water is increasingly cold, nothing works better than a good, old fashion marabou hair jig. Soft hair keeps its flexibility in cold water and doesn't move too fast. When the water is cold all aquatic creatures tend to slow down, if your claim is too frenetic movements, it could become the fish bite.

Try vertical fishing : there is something about the up and jigging motion that activates Crappie to take the bait. If you know that you have your boat for a nice piece of structure of the exploitation of fish, try giving your jig or bait idiots, allowing that they are in between each one. The Crappie snatch the bait when is usually in the fall. Metal spoons are perfect for this type of fishing.

Keep an eye on your Sonar : love Crappie tenure to the deep structure under water. When you are analyzing, make sure to keep an eye on the sonar and, if possible, mark the points to note in the GPS. You can return to the fish with different techniques and sites. Without his ring will be quite difficult to find which holds the fish, especially if they are in a neutral mood.

Easy in the Hookset : Crappie got the name "papermouth" for good reason. If you set the hook too easily can get out of your mouth or creating a hole in the flesh of her lips that is too large, what the tooth of the hook to slip free rather than fish holding closely to the line.

Catfish River fish can be an exciting experience on the North American continent. Apart from rivers, they are found in other types of fresh water, as long as the waters warm enough for spawning. Catfish are usually found where the River currents are slower. She likes accommodation in rock formations and ledges that are also good sources of food. Speaking of food, catfish have a very good sense of smell, that what she is depending on in search of food. Therefore, artificial bait won't help you much. What you need is strong, firm to tackle, especially when you are in rapid flows of river fish. Frogs, night crawlers, chicken liver and Shad are among the effective live bait for catfish River fish. Frogs are effective bait because smaller fish will not come in the way while you wait for a bite to eat catfish.

Walker River fishing areas

The East Walker river rises on the Bridgeport Valley of the Mono County and ends at the Lake Walker in Hawthorne, Nevada. The West Walker River is the best trout fishing destination when all other Walker River flows slow. It is a small stream in the mountains of Sonora Pass to the Leavitt Meadows is located. River fishing for bass

Bass River fishing is popular today, thanks to good accessibility, and that does not mean that you need a boat of all time. Before you cast your Rod ask your local bait shop on the most recent feed habits of bass in your environment. Worms, crayfish, and crappie minnows are the usual recommendations. However, the opinion of the local ACE store and choose for live bait or lures that resemble live bait.  Bass River are usually smaller than bass found in lakes, because they have to swim against the River currents. In addition, the general availability of food a difference so you'll need to shrink what you put in as bait.

The spring is about the best time for bass River fish. The fish swim in the early spring for spawning in the warm water of the creeks on the River. So, grab your fishing kits between March and April for a good distance from bass. It would do you good to throw upstream and let the current carry the bait downstream if you reel in a slow. One of the characteristics of Bas is that they are with their head upstream to catch prey floating along the River. Search for deeper holes in the River, which is a favorite place for bass where the currents are not too strong. On cloudy days cast your line in shallower waters and go into deeper holes on sunny days. Bass really know how to bite fast and furious that is what adds to the fun.

River fishing for Carp

River carp are different from carp lake. One of the most important points about River carp fishing is to know how to search of places to fish. Among the most important places that carp are reed beds, overhanging trees, flowing water, and water inlets and outlets. Overhanging tees where the river meets another body of water is a great source of food for carp, so this is a place that you would like to cast your line. Weed beds and water lilies along the River as carp in these areas collect in meal times. Fast flowing water is good oxygen carp has therefore attracted to these areas. The River margins fish is a good idea where you stop vehicle can produce a good distance from carp. A good idea to pre-bait the area for a few days. This will not only attract carp but also keep other smaller fish from the area.

When River carp fishing recall that these fish are more active than carp found in lakes, as they must constantly adapt to the water flows, consume more energy, and are always in look of a source of food. A good tip is to place the bait on the bottom of the River with a sliding weight. A girders milling pool works well in rivers, as the lever of the voltage at the current can customize. Don't forget to wear a lot of dough bait. They are ideal for carp river fish because they melt slowly in the water leaving a scent trail back to the bait.

Different types of templates for ultra-light fishing

When is I think of ultra-light fishing, the first type of claim that comes to mind the jig. They are an attractive more versatile and easy to use in my box address. I simply throw out and expect to sink to the correct depth. Then, I work in a series of twitching and darts.

Slow down the presentation is the name of the game to use common types of templates in your ultralight fishing rod. There are four different types of templates that can be linked to its UL line, depending on the situation and the conditions that will be fishing in. Note the different types below to find out which of them should tie in the next time that the head above water.

Soft Plastic Jigs for Ultralight Fishing

Soft plastic templates are probably the most popular type of jig that can be used for the fishing of UL. My personal favorite soft plastics type gigas are tube, curly tail grub gigas gigas and magnets of trout.

Tube jigs have a tube shaped body with Squid as a tail. They are great to retrieve more than one style of twitch and many times the fish strike as the jig is sinking after a few participated.

Curly tail jigs, moreover, are excellent for a slow, even recover. The tail has the shape of the letter C, but when it moves through the water tail straighten and has an incredible ondeante action.

Magnets of trout are unlike any other soft plastic jigs. A micro-jig with a style of dart is jig-head and a tail of split. The twitch of the tip of the rod causes this giga dart through the water, attracting the attention of hungry fish. It is called trout imams but they are great to catch other freshwater fish also.

Marabou Jigs for Ultralight Fishing

If I find in the fisheries of water with templates, more often that I don't have a jig of marabou linked at the end of my line. I just love the action that the underwater smooth marabou feathers. The jig is live for fish, resulting in more strikes. Some of my larger fish captured in gigabytes of marabou super fished slowly. If you've never tried fishing with jigs Marab?, recommend that try them.

There are two types of templates of marabou that I like to use for ultra-light fishing. One is a jig of complete Marab? where the marab? begins just after the head of jig. The other has a chenille body then head jig and then a marabou tail. Both work great!

Hair Jigs for Ultralight Fishing

Hair templates are usually linked with the tail of hair/buck estimated, which gives them different qualities of marabou. Deer hair is hollow, making him float and move the jig. It is also stronger than the marab?, meaning that the gigs will last longer.

Normally use hair gigas in rapid motion or deep waters. Although deer hair floats, I found that hair troqueles receiver faster than the marabou and soft plastic jigs in the same weight. So if you are trying to get right in front of the trout, which are in a pool deep in a river in swift current, would use a jig of hair rather than any other.

Combination Jigs for Ultralight Fishing

Combination of templates? It is a device to do it with a combination of materials. These include soft plastic, Marab?, hair, chenille and almost any fly tying material. Also you can buy these gigabytes of combination or you can place them together yourself. Sometimes I'll add a small soft plastic curly tail a marabou jig or hair. Depending on how they feel the fish, sometimes I notice an increase in the attacks.

Impressive jigs for ultra-light fishing

I've tried quite a few different types of templates in my years of ultra-light fishing, but there are a few that are still purchased if they lend themselves to losing them, or about getting caught and cut them. Below are five of my favorites types of templates for the capture of a wide variety of species of ultra-light fishing gear, according to their action, durability, and profitability.

Marabou Crappie Jigs for Ultralight Fishing

Crappie of Mister Twister templates are lightweight and durable. Built with hair color Marab?, with a soft tail who perfectly imitates small baitfish when you drag through the water column. If it returned to you, or swam, Mister Twister Crappie jigs bag fish more than most other types of based Marab? gigas. While his name allows you to know that killing Crappie, work equally well on all species of panfish, trout and bass.

UL Fishing with Road Runner Jigs

There is a motto which accompanies each jig Road Runner: if slow enough work, work more slowly. This is due to the movements of the body and the tail with the spoon of small spinnerblade in the jighead natural, realistic style. The spinner helps to capture the attention of fish in the area while the soft plastic body and tail of working its magic to attract to the strikes. These jigheads work on all species of fish than anything salt water intrusion in fresh water.

Trout Magnets are Awesome for UL Fishing

This is probably my most recent jig fishing ultra-light favorite. Out-fish is a simple but unique jig, and often all similar templates. It has a head of jig's style of dart which gives trout magnet a single darting action when jigged in the water. The soft plastic body also has a very unique style. It is a small grub with split tail. I am amazed of how such a simple claim on fish catch. If the fish not bite another thing, try a trout magnet, could only change their luck.

Try out a Beetle Spin for Ultra-Light Fishing

OK, Ok... its marketing as a bait spinner for nothing to nothing, but when you take you off the arm spinner and blade, will end with a head of ultralight jig that is super effective at anything that moves in the water. Everything've taken you of Panfish, Crappie, bass and catfish in these, AMIA, Ladyfish, and even a large turtle. There is something attractive about design low profile that sounds like the Bell of the dinner for fish and small legs. When you are ready to move fast, can link the arm and spinner and work even faster waters.

How to unlock locks on ultralight Tackle

It is impossible to avoid any type of fishing gear that uses constraints. However, by using ultralight gear becomes one even bigger problem. If you're in a position where it is at risk of losing its appeal, you can think of some of the techniques that I personally use for free from obstacles and try to save myself a few bucks.

Don't try to theft is free -one of the biggest mistakes you can do is to try stealing the lure of the sticks. If you are dealing with a pile of weeds can leave, but for the majority of situations is anyone is going to cause the lure deeper receptor in the paste or even end up breaking their line. Instead of stealing the free lure, you want to stop and try to make a determination of what that could be caught in and how better approach to the situation.

Light ripple rod tip : the first technique that can be used is the high stick in the air and start the undulation of the tip of the rod and back. Try to avoid pulling the tip of the rod in the air because it will end up sinking deeper hooks on the downside. When you move the left and right end of the rod to to dislodge more disadvantages as the decoy isn't set too deep.

Learn the technique of string : If unsuccessful the undulation of the rod of back and forth, can also try the technique of "string". So you want to tighten down their drag and then drums until any delay. With the pointer and thumb you can grab the line and slowly her pluck as a string or guitar string will do. Cast semi-tight to you and then leave it "pop" to its original position. This "popping" enough to get the decoy to deploy, is to liberate himself from debris underwater.

Build your own attract aldaba : when you're incapable of undulation of the tip of the rod and rope technique not loosen your claim, you will that you should use a "decoy" aldaba. They are heavy weighted elements to slide his line and sit above the lure. With the added weight of the aldaba sitting on top of your claim, shall normally be down hard enough decoy and breaking hooks free of everything that you are connected. can make their own aldaba with a clip and heavy weights. Normally use a total of 2-4 ounces of weight, depending on how deep I am fishing.

Reposition yourself from the downside : If you can walk, or move the boat, you may be placed directly through where he ran when he caught and attempt to remove from an opposite direction. As you have not set too deep hooks into the structure, this method is almost guaranteed to loosen the paste and save a few bucks.

Large low gigas for ultra-light fishing

When it comes to fisheries under ultra light, some lures work, get to the biggest fish, in the way that it will be a basic old jig. Throughout my years I have fish low under a wide range of conditions, temperatures of the water, clarities and structure types and claim has not been nearly as consistent pull under great out of the water in a light and ultra light than a windridge jig rod. Below are four of my favorite templates that are light enough to operate perfectly in ultra-light gear. Want to make sure that you are using 1/8 oz for the majority of applications to make sure that you are able to get a good hookset with his tackle UL.

This is my all jig favorite time for ultra-light fishing windridge. 1/8 Ounce model easily projected over incredibly long distances, and lighter weed guard makes it easy to establish tight lipped fish hook. The body is strong in the jighead even after multiple catches, where donde comenzar? will start other templates do not and have the skirt slide downward by the hook. My favorite colors are black and blue, watermelon and pumpkin oil.

-

This is one of the few gigs that I've saved to my arsenal of more than one season. The ChatterBait has a piece of blade - on the front that gives the flash of a spinner. It is the device to tie occasionally need flash extra. It also has a very unique action when he pulled through the water that is irresistible to bass. Match colors crabs, water or small baitfish errors and has a proven winner.

-

Booyah knows how to fish. Your baby Boo Jigs really tagged as a finesse jig, but are perfect for ultralight gear. 3/16 Oz model features a guardian body of 60 strand and a light weed, with a hook for lightweight Mustad super strong wire that makes configuration easy. My favorite colors on these are black/brown/Chartreuse, black/blue and 3D watermelon red. When gently place the baby Boo in the water, if there are fish in the area, everything you need to do is just move it to get the skirt to undulate. More often that not, this is enough to attract a strike and obtain its drag move.

-

Another one of my favorite types of bass dies is the tube jig. While they are mostly known as a jig mouth, they do very well with all popular species of black bass. Gary Yamamoto tube jigs are the best I have ever used. These templates are well designed and come in a wide variety of colors. Squid tail has an incredible action under water. Every twitch of the tip of the rod makes these templates of tube life. You will need 1/8 ounce tube jig heads properly rig these tubes for the fishing of UL.
