Lake Bob Sandlin spreads 9000 hectares of Titus, Camp and Franklin County. White Bass and channel catfish are among the popular species with a large number of trophy size largemouth as well. The Lake is 5 km southwest of Mount Pleasant with many fish available throughout the year. Fishermen can look forward to a great catch bluegill sunfish, and the legal size of crappie as well. With a maximum depth of 65 meters, there are numerous possibilities for trolls with success. Fishing on Lake Bob Sandlin is most active during spring, autumn and winter, thanks to the cooler waters where bass are more active during daylight hours. The shallow water early morning and late afternoon fish is recommended. Spinner bait and crank bait are the anglers choice on Lake Bob Sandlin. Use a variety of plastic worms during the warmer months when fishing of the weeds. Top water baits such as tail fins, poppers and prop baits work well. Catfish good on cut Shad or bite a smelly ACE and can be caught all year round. Bluegills are easy bait with live worms or crickets. There are many public boat ramps and private marinas around the Lake. Slope 1 lies northwest of the dam, located about 50 km from FM.
